We want to create communities where people can live peacefully and enjoy their
homes without the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour.
We will adopt a zero tolerance approach to the enforcement of tenancy
conditions and will work in a variety of ways to prevent and tackle ASB in New Cross Gate.

For example:---

• We will improve security arrangements (like CCTV and lighting).

• We will provide a freephone ASB reporting line.

• We will support victims and witnesses.

• We will use occupancy audits, ASBOs, acceptable behaviour contracts – and ultimately, where necessary, legal action.

• We will provide a quick response to graffiti, broken windows etc.

• And we will have a dedicated ASB officer who will work closely with  residents, the police and wardens.
